I hope this message finds you well. My name is Samantha Repekta, I am a recent graduate of Montclair State University and I am currently pursuing my Dietetic Internship with Iowa State's Distance Program. Here is a little bit about myself, while working on my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Science, I lead my university's nutrition organization and volunteered with local agencies. While I was studying at MSU I also worked part-time for St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center as a Nutrition Assistant and then moved on to spend almost two years full-time with Trader Joe's. After graduation, I went on to work for the NYC Department of Education in their SchoolFood department, managing food service in a cluster of schools in Midtown. I currently work with the Department of Agriculture as a Nutrition Program Specialist. I am looking for opportunities to complete my internship rotations, which you can learn more about at this link: http://www.dietetics.iastate.edu/locations/select-preceptors/

Please let me know if you have any questions, you can reach my cell phone at 973-767-8498.

    All the best,

    Samantha Repekta

I’m a student at Cedar Crest College, and I have been accepted into their DI program starting July of next year. Since I live in Flemington, NJ, I’m doing their distance program so that I can hopefully find some preceptors a little closer to my area. I'm wondering if you know of any dietitians that would be interested in being a preceptor. I'm currently still looking for sites for the clinical, community, and food service rotations.
